Our home-building process takes up to 90 days. After each phase of the build, we conduct an FTQ-360 Inspection to ensure everything was done correctly and that it aligns with our quality standards. Then, a final inspection is completed by 2M Quality. Eldon Homes offers a 1-2-10 year warranty as well!

The Eldon Homes Process:

1. Get Prequalified

The first step in the process is to work with your chosen financial institution to determine how much you can spend on your home build.

2. Choosing Your New Home Site & Plan

We have a variety of new construction home sites in the Madison, WI area and plans to choose from, catered to your specific wants and needs.

3. Receive Your Quote

Once you have selected your site and new home plan, you will receive a complete quote with base house costs and other options.

4. Site Survey & Foundation

Once you have approved your quote, we mark the location of where your home will sit on your chosen site, followed by laying the concrete foundation for your new home.

5. Windows & Siding

Watch as our subcontractors install your siding and windows. Let the light shine through!

6. Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC

Part of our electrical, plumbing and HVAC installation includes picking outlet and lighting locations, as well as AV equipment.

7. Install Interior Finishes

Our clients love the interior finishes of Eldon Homes. They include (but are not limited to): cabinets, counter tops, flooring, doors, and light fixtures.

8. Paint, Carpet & Flooring

At this point, the process is almost done. Watch as your new home comes to life with color and beautiful wood, tile or carpet flooring.

9. New Home Orientation

The New Home Orientation is an opportunity for us to show you how to maintain and operate the equipment in your move-in ready home.

10. Inspection & Closing

We have a third party provider, 2M Quality, inspect your home before handing it over to you. Once that’s complete, you can begin your future in your new home!
